Abstract	The article discusses concepts and characteristics of teaching materials used in the Distance Education, such as planning, methods, strategies for the production of these materials. The proposed course is aimed at training teachers, focused on distance learning courses. For this we discussed methods of Instructional Design for elaboration of didactic material. It is expected that the public at the end of the course, will can extend their pedagogical practices and their knowledge about Distance Education, which favors the adoption of a more critical look on the production of teaching materials that meet the specifics of the course to which it proposes to work. Resumo. O artigo aborda conceitos e características dos materiais didáticos utilizados na Educação a Distância, tais como planejamento, métodos estratégias para a produção destes materiais. O minicurso proposto teve como objetivo formação de professores, com foco nos cursos a distância. Para isso foram discutidos métodos do Design Instrucional para elaboração de material didático. Entendemos que o público, ao final do minicurso, poderá ampliar suas práticas pedagógicas e seus conhecimentos sobre a Educação a Distância, o que favorece a adoção de um olhar mais crítico sob a produção de materiais didáticos que atendam as especificidades do curso ao qual se propõem a trabalhar.
