| Abstract | The deterministic simulation of the electromagnetic waves propagation by a ray-tracing allows predicting accurately the behavior of the propagation channel. However, these methods are limited to the modeling of electromagnetic phenomenon produced in far field and are not able, in a MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) context, to take into account the coupling between antennas which appears in near field. In order to overcome this drawback, a study which focuses on the rigorous modeling of mutual coupling between antennas and its integration on the channel modeling has been realized. The impact of this phenomenon is analyzed by considering the correlation between different radio-links and the MIMO capacity.
