Abstract	espanolEn el presente articulo se lleva a cabo una aproximacion a la influencia que las nuevas tecnologias estan teniendo en la sociedad, y mas concretamente en las cuestiones economicas, politicas, culturales, informativas, educativas, morales y cientifico-tecnologicas. Partiendo de una sintesis estructuralista —nodos y nexos—, se ofreceran ideas sobre la influencia de las nuevas tecnologias en el seno del conjunto social y se analizaran las consecuencias criticas de su mala gestion o positivas de su buena gestion, ademas de aportar algunos posibles caminos a seguir, siempre desde una perspectiva humanista. Al abarcar numerosos temas, el soporte teorico utilizado es amplio y a la vez se recurre a ejemplos actuales. EnglishThis article attempts to evaluate the influence that new technologies are having on society in general, and more specifically regarding economic, political, cultural, informational, educational, moral and scientific matters. Starting from a structuralist synthesis —nodes and links—, the article offers ideas on the influence of new technologies within a general social context and makes a critical analysis of the consequences of its good or bad management, as well as providing some possible paths to follow, always from a humanistic perspective. Given that it covers a wide range of topics, the theoretical support is broad and yet resorts to current examples.
