| Abstract | This work of completion for course focuses on identifying the difficulties of literacy and literacy among students of 3rd year of a Regular public school Teaching and learning processes involved, the levels of development in the acquisition of reading and writing and cognitive levels still, these students during my period of Internship course Curriculum of pedagogy at the Faculty of Education at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. For understanding these processes brings studies about the concept of literacy, of this Methodological, theoretical fundamentals of the most common methods used in synthetic and global literacy:, widely known and the concept of literacy. Search investigate the levels of cognitive development and the levels of development of lectoescrita involving four case studies, covering the General level of 3rd year class. Research is based on data collections, fonts and information extracted from my internship Pbworks and learning project developed with students of 3rd year during my curricular internship period. The analysis of case studies is anchored on the theories of Jean Piaget, who explains the levels of cognitive development of children from the perspective of genetic epistemology of Vygotsky that prioritizes the social character of the subject stressing that knowledge is built by the individual in constant interaction with the social environment in which you live under a perspective sociointeracionista, Emilia Ferreiro from Psychogeneses Written language which explains the levels of evolution of writing and reading, yet the theoretical Marlene Carvalho and Jaqueline Moll that help us understand the processes involved in literacy and literacy and the influences that suffer in the development of language skills. The paper presents activities performed during my period of curricular internship that contributed positively to the development of students in literacy and literacy, but also the diagnosis of learning difficulties of reading and writing of these students.
