| Abstract | Metatheatre considered as a group of textual strategies which promote the vulnerability of the real / fiction limits and, in consequence, the aproach between stage and public, is sometimes used by characters in orther to destroy their own fictional status, which is send to the oblivion, to the disparation when the play ends. Those characters will be considered as metafictional; due to that, they are conscious about their brief status, so that, they struggled to maintain theirselves in the spectators mind. Thus, considering texts by Sanchis Sinisterra, Juan Mayorga, Antonia Bueno, Antonio Martinez Ballesteros, Paloma Pedrero y Carmen Resino I analize those metatheatrical strategies which characters use to fight against oblivion. |
