Abstract	Esta comunicacion aborda la presencia de mujeres enGaceta de Arte (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1932-1936)desde varias vertientes. Se analizan las colaboracionesfemeninas en la revista en el campo de la criticaartistica —tradicionalmente vetado a las mujeres— ylos contenidos tematicos dedicados a creadoras de laepoca, a sus obras literarias y artisticas o su actuacionprofesional en el cine, la musica, la literatura, la poesiao el arte. Asimismo, se estudian los estereotiposfemeninos que la revista refleja a traves de imagenes ytextos, iconografias y arquetipos que responden a loscambios sociales que se estaban produciendo en lasactitudes y en la mentalidad de la epoca, en relacion ala cuestion de los generos. The aim of this presentation study is to examine thepresence of women in the Gaceta de arte magazine(Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1932-1936) from severalpoints of view. We have analysed women´scollaborations with the magazine in the field of artcriticism —from which women were traditionallyexcluded— as well as articles focussing on women'screations, including subjects relating to their works ofliterature, music, cinema, poetry and art. This researchalso studies female stereotypes reflected in images andtexts, archetypes that respond to the social changes thatwere taking place, relating to gender issues, in theattitudes and mentality of people at that time.
