The current view of the human being as a complex individual requires health professionals work complementary and interdisciplinary, which opposes the extreme fragmentation and specialization of knowledge and health practices, still dominant way to work. The SUS establishes that primary care should be the mainly gateway for the network of health care by considering the proximity to people, uniqueness of them, and resoluteness front of the most health needs. In this context, this study intends to know the perspective and performance of nurses regarding interdisciplinary work in a Health Centre in Florianópolis that operates on the logic proposed by the Family Health Strategy. As a method, a qualitative approach was used through case study based on semi-structured interviews and participant observation. Analysis was performed from data triangulation, seeking consistencies and inconsistencies between discourse and practice. This study shows that the perspective and performance of nurses are related to factors that influence interdisciplinarity. Communication between professionals is presented as a fundamental element for the development of interdisciplinarity. There was also a correlation between teamwork and interdisciplinary practice from an understanding of interdependence among those involved in the care process. From multiple perspectives on a given situation, the full attention to the user was highlighted as the main purpose of interdisciplinary work. There was also identified the strengths and difficulties in the development of interdisciplinarity. |
