| Abstract | The purpose of this work is to determine the economic viability of the construction and start-up of a composting plant in the Municipality of Cogua, Cundinamarca, through a financial simulation in which the calculations corresponding to the project budgets are made from the year 2018 until 2028. After carrying out a documentary review presented in the reference framework, a process that will allow that the financial simulation be developed orderly and in accordance with the selected evaluation method for this case study is proposed. Therefore, the results obtained in the financial simulation are presented using the evaluation indicators, which allow to conclude whether the project of the composting plant is financially viable or not and their respective interpretations. |
