| Abstract | This document exposes outcomes evaluation of the processes developed in La Macarena potabilization plant in the municipality of Sibaté, Cundinamarca, with the aim of establishing an alternative to the problem identified in the disinfection system during the diagnostic phase, with base in the physicochemical and microbiological analyzes in distribution network in which a concentration of free residual chlorine was established above what is allowed by the regulations. Two alternatives to the chlorine dosing system were designed, determining the economic feasibility of its implementation and finally the macro-drip set was chosen as an adequate alternative, establishing it as a technically and economically feasible alternative for the PTAP, capable of satisfying the technical requirements of the plant at the lowest cost of execution and in turn give solution to the chlorine dosing problems. |
