| Abstract | The purpose of this study is to identify the views of teachers who work at primary schools in the central district of the city of Bolu about organizational citizenship behaviors and problem solving skills. In the study the survey method was used. 373 teachers who were selected, using the stratified sampling method, formed the sample of the study. The “Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale” and “Problem Solving Inventory” were used as the data collection instruments. The findings of the study revealed that the teachers‟ views of organizational citizenship behavior in the dimensions of altruism, decency (politeness), and conscientiousness are at the “completely agree” level, and their views are at the “agree” level in the membership probity and sportsmanship dimensions. Additionally, the findings of the study revealed that teachers‟ views about their problem solving skills are at the “mostly” level in mindful, critical, self-confident and planned approach, at the “often” level in the abstention dimension and at the “sometimes” level in the impetuous dimension. Personal variables of the teachers displayed meaningful differences in some dimensions regarding their organizational behavior and problems solving skills. Meanwhile, meaningful relationships were found between their views on organizational citizenship behavior and problem solving skills. |
