Optimización de rutas en ‘Camino Seguro al Cole’. Construcción de rutas con medios de transporte alternativos

| Abstract | La idea de este trabajo surge a partir del proyecto educativo de la Comunidad de Madrid Camino Seguro al Cole1, proyecto que pretende fomentar la autonomia e independencia de los ninos y mejorar la seguridad ciudadana en el entorno de los colegios, ademas de mejorar la movilidad potenciando habitos de transporte mas saludables. Este trabajo trata de modelizar y resolver algunos de los distintos problemas que se plantean en dicho proyecto, y elaborar un mapa de movilidad mas completo. Con este fin, se centra en la construccion de rutas optimas con distintos medios de transporte, realizandose un estudio de los caminos a pie, en coche y en transporte publico. Para la construccion de las rutas se han tenido en cuenta criterios como la seguridad y el tiempo de recorrido, y se deja una modelizacion abierta para ser utilizada con otros criterios de forma que solo sea necesario introducir la matriz de datos correspondiente. Con esto se permite tanto la actualizacion periodica de datos, como poder aplicar la modelizacion para otros criterios o incluso aplicarla a otros colegios, reduciendo los nuevos modelos a un estudio de datos. En esta memoria se recoge tanto la fundamentacion teorica del trabajo como el estudio de campo. Los datos empiricos proceden de la zona del colegio ‘Nuestra Senora de la Paloma’ de Madrid, en el que se realizaron encuestas a alumnos y padres de alumnos. Para finalizar, se ofrecen una serie de conclusiones sobre la correcta utilizacion de las aranas y los mapas de movilidad obtenidos a lo largo de la investigacion [English: The idea of this paper arises from the Comunidad de Madrid educational project Camino Seguro al Cole (Safe way to the school), a project that aims to promote the autonomy and independence of children and to improve the public safety in the school environment, as well as improve the mobility through promoting healthier transportation habits. This paper tries to model and solve some of the problems present in Camino Seguro al Cole project, and develop a comprehensive mobility map. With this aim, the paper is focused on the construction of optimal routes using different means of transport, by making a study of the paths either on foot, by car or by public transport. For the construction of the routes it is taken into consideration criteria such as safety and travel time, and it leaves a model to be used with other criteria in such a way that it is only necessary to enter the corresponding data matrix. This allows both the regular update of data and the application of the modelling to other criteria or even applying it to other schools, limiting the new models to a mere study data. This paper includes the theoretical foundation of the work as well as the field study. The empirical data come from ‘Colegio Nuestra Senora de la Paloma’ area (Madrid), where students and student’s parents were surveyed.
