| Abstract | Woman’s situation in job market is unequal in relation to man’s one. Mass media mean a very outstanding part of society and largely they are a reflection of this one, therefore it is important to know who makes up them. This work analyse some mass media of all types in Andalucía’s area and their feminization degree, in order to compare it with the rate of female students in Journalism major in the University of Sevilla, with the goal of confirm if they match. The investigation also focus in the journalist women experience, from a feminist perspective, and their point of view about the matter at hand, so the research also counts with the interview of four women who work in different fields of communication. As well, for understanding in a better way the phenomenon of journalism’s feminization, the investigation will pay special attention to the situation of female leadership. |
