| Abstract | OZET: Bu araflt›rma, mesleki ve teknik okullarda gorev yapan o¤retmenlerin bilgisayar kullanma durumlar›n› ve eitimde bilgisa- yar kullanmalar›n›n engelleriyle ilgili gorufllerini belirlemeye yonelik bir cal›flmad›r. Veriler "Okullarda Biliflim Teknolojilerinin Yay›l›m› Anketi" arac›l›¤›yla toplanm›fl; verilerin cozumlenmesinde yuzde ve frekans kullan›lm›flt›r. Araflt›rma sonucunda, o¤ret- menlerin yafl› ve k›demleri artt›kca bilgisayar kullan›mlar›n›n azald›¤›, o¤renim duzeyleri artt›kca ve bilgisayara eriflim koflullar› iyilefltikce bilgisayar kullan›mlar›n›n da artt›¤› belirlenmifltir. Bilgisayar kullanmay› universitede o¤rendiklerini belirten o¤retmen- lerin neredeyse tamam›n›n bilgisayar kulland›¤›, buna karfl›n hizmet ici eitimlerle o¤rendiini dile getiren o¤retmenlerin %17'sinin bilgisayar kullanmad›¤› dikkati cekmifltir. O¤retmenler, yetersiz butce, donan›m eksiklii ve yetersiz hizmetici eitimin, eitimde bil- gisayar kullan›m›nda en onemli engeller olduunu dile getirmifllerdir. Anahtar sozcukler: mesleki ve teknik eitim, o¤retmenlerin bilgisayar kullan›mlar›, eitimde bilgisayar kullan›m›na engeller OZET: This study, aims to identify views of vocational and technical schools' teachers on use of computer and obstacles of com- puter usage. Data were collected through a survey and percentage and frequency were used in data analysis. Results of the study shows that, computer usage of teachers was declined while their age and years of experiences were increased; while teachers' edu- cation level increased and accesing conditions enriched computer usage of teachers was also increased. It has been observed that almost all the teachers, who learned computer usage during their university education, have been using computers but 17% of the teachers who learned computer usage inservice training courses have not been using computers. Teachers, explained that financial problems, lack of hardware and insufficent inservice training were the obstacles of computer usage. 1. G‹R‹fi Bilim ve teknolojide yaflanan h›zl› deiflmelerle, meslek alanlar›ndaki ceflitlilik artm›fl, mevcut meslekler deiflime uram›fl ve bu meslek alanlar›na yeni elemanlar›n yetifltirilmesi zorunlu hale gelmifltir. Toplumsal sistemin cou alt sistemi, eitim kurumlar›n›n teknolojiyi kullanabilen bireyler yetifltirmesini beklemektedir. Bu noktada sanayi toplumlar›nda ara insan gucu yetifltirmek uzere kurulmufl olan mesleki teknik okullar›n - her ne kadar bilgi toplumundaki rol ve ifllevlerinin yeniden gozden gecirilmesi gerekse de - ozellikle ekonomik alt sistemin beklentilerini karfl›lamaya yonelik deiflimlere ayak uydurmas› beklen- mektedir. Oysa, Mesleki Araflt›rma ve Gelifltirme Merkezi (CORD-Center for Occupation Research and Development) (1994), okullarda o¤retilen becerilerle iflletmelerin ihtiyaclar› aras›ndaki boflluun Turkiye'de cok buyuk olduunu vurgulamaktad›r. ‹lgili araflt›rmada gorufllerine baflvurulan cou kifli, bu uyumsuzluu modas› gecmifl programlara ve o¤rencilerini yeni teknolojilere gore gelifltirebilecek modern becerilere sahip olmayan o¤retmenlere balamaktad›r. |
