| Abstract | Castellano: Este articulo analiza el significado del surgimiento de la nueva mujer, a principios del siglo XX y sus manifestaciones politicas, centrandose en la vinculacion entre las mujeres y el movimiento fascista. Estudia los origenes de las fascistas espanolas y su principal actividad en los primeros anos de la postguerra, entre 1939 y 1945: la Formacion de la mujer. Destaca la utilizacion de la creacion de bibliotecas, unidas a las escuelas de hogar como mecanismo del adoctrinamiento de las mujeres, a la par que refleja las limitaciones de dicho proyecto. English: This article examines the significance and political expression of the rise of the new woman at the beginning of the 20th century, focusing on the links between women and the Fascist movement. It studies the origins of Spanish Fascist women and their main activity in the early postwar years, between 1939 and 1945: women's training. It draws attention to the setting up of libraries attached to the Escuelas de Hogar or domestic training schools as a means of indoctrinating women, and reflects on the limitations of this program. |
