| Abstract | This study researched the use of Facebook by university students in Thailand and the US comparing their activities and use of that Website. The researchers found that Thai students made more intensive use of Facebook in the amount of time spent on the Website, frequency of log-ins, and regularity of their status updates than US students. Thai students also had reported a greater attachment to this social media Website, and appeared to be more open than US students to the use of Facebook for expression of their viewpoints and their emotional states. |
