| Abstract | ABSTRACT Transformational leadership is one's ability to influence others to follow suit as they wish its leader. Performance is the result of work achieved in accordance with standards, goals of size and responsibility. The aim of this study to Know The phenomenon of Transformational leadership towards Performance Lecturer in Prodi Technology Food University Muhamadiyah Semarang, This research uses qualitative method, this research using a phenomenological approach, the subject of this study is 3 lecturer of Food Technology at Muhammadiyah University of Semarang with conducted interviews. Measuring tool used in this research is a feature of the transformational leadership style and documentation data lecturer performance. The results of this study indicate that the leader (kaprodi) using transformational leadership, of the four traits transformational leadership, indealized influence, Individual consideration, inspirational motivation, intelectual stimulation, leaders (kaprodi) are able to carry out the four characteristics of leadership transformational. The conclusions of this research are leadership transformasional affect the performance of lecturers diprodi Food technology University of Muhammadiyah Semarang. |
