| Abstract | Lecturer is one of the essential components of a system of education in college. Roles and responsibilities of teachers is crucial in realizing human qualities. Therefore, a teacher is required to perform optimally so as to create a professional lecturer performance and high quality. The situation would be created if supported by the chairman of the department of leadership behavior, organizational climate and work motivation lecturer. This study aims to examine how much influence the total head of department leadership behavior, organizational climate and work motivation on the performance of civil servants lecturer at a private university in the city of Bandung. The approach used in this study is quantitatively using explanatory survey. The population is 43 departments / study programs at seven private universities in Bandung. The subjects in this study were, faculty, and students. The required data is secondary data obtained from the questionnaire covered a proven validity and reliability. Data that has been collected analyzed using descriptive analysis, while testing hypotheses using path analysis. The results showed a positive and significant leadership to the faculty performance of civil servants. Organizational climate positively but not significantly, whereas motivation lecturer positive and significant for the performance of civil servants lecturer at a private university in Bandung. The conclusion of this study that the behavior of the leadership, organizational climate and work motivation are strategic factors to achieve the performance of a professional civil service grade teacher. While the suggestions that when the chairman of the department to achieve the professional performance of the faculty department head shall determine the exact model of the behavior of the leadership, organizational climate, and work motivation. |
