| Abstract | This article analyzes two projects of new French te xtbooks for secondary school pupils, compiled after 2000, within the fram ework of the educational reform. The textbooks chosen for analysis were thos e f r the first and last year of secondary school education. We have analyzed the pr oj ct of each of the textbooks mentioned above with a view to seeing the manner of o ganization, the content, the progression and the development of the written ling uistic competence. This analysis has permitted to highlight a certain disfu nctionality as regards the functioning of the official discourse. |
