The Program Bolsa Família was created by the Federal Government with the purpose of combatting the poverty and the inequality of income in Brazil. Since it began to be implanted the Program grew and it started to assist more than 13 million poor families throughout the country. Through a system of conditional and direct cash transfer, the Program is enlarging the access to education and health for the beneficiary families. However, not only the families have been contemplated with the benefits of the program, but the municipal districts and the economy in general are being affected by Bolsa Family's impact. That work approaches the changes in the life of the beneficiary families and a positive impact was verified in the area of the health and education. We also verified that the expenses addressed for the Program have been generating an economical effect for the municipal districts, mainly those more lacking ones. |
