| Abstract | The objective of this article is to discuss how the state in the scope of the reform, it acts in the new configuration of public policies of education in Brazil from the years of 1990, as well as to analyze the public policies of training of distance teachers implemented by the state of Tocantins. To do so, we sought to present an approach of a qualitative nature with the theoretical-methodological procedures that involve the relations between state and public policies through a bibliographical research and documentary sources. The results of the study pointed out that in the new forms of state action in the configuration of public educational policies in Brazil and in the State of Tocantins, actions of teacher training at a distance were strongly marked by the indications of multilateral organizations in interface with the neoliberal State . |
