Abstract: This study aims to bring some considerations on Education in Agroecology has been planned and effectively carried out. The objective was to understand and diagnose the challenges and opportunities for the teaching of Agroecology in a School of the city of Araras -Sao Paulo/Brasil. We used the research methodology - Action - participatory. The pedagogical process of planning, integration and consolidation Agroecology of teaching has been facing many difficulties that compromise and prevent their development within the school environment. The tendency to standardization, homogenization and fragmentation of the pedagogical approach emphasizes concepts conflicts and incompatibilities between the teaching of Agroecology and conventional agricultural education. The results of this study indicate the need to reflect and seek Agroecological Transition School. |
