| Abstract | This Final Project aims to raise awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders, giving information of its meaning and differentiating features and other terms traditionally used to refer to it as the word autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorders. It is also focused in education, specifically in learning how to work with these children in the kindergarten stage of the schools of Segovia. Finally, we present a proposal for intervention to perform a hypothetical child with this disorder in a standardized kindergarten classroom, working with the TEACCH method and two Systems Alternative and Augmentative Communication: PECS and Bimodal System. |
