| Abstract | The present article deals with evaluating the suitability of the documentary as an educational resource in front of the sociopolitical approach that exposes the panorama of Postconflict and Historical Memory in Colombia. The exposure of a medium like documentary is novel because it broadens the perspective of reality, promotes participation and improves attention to the knowledge that is exposed. From this perspective, the question was asked: How to evaluate the suitability of the documentaries "Negotiation" and "Faces of Memories" as educational resources in the socio-political framework of Postconflict and Historical Memory in Colombia? What is the suitability of the documentaries "Negotiation" and "Faces of Memories" as educational resources for the understanding of Post-Conflict and Historical Memory in Colombia? Based on this question, the general objective was: Determine the suitability of the documentaries "The negotiation" and "Faces of the Memories" as educational resources in the socio-political framework of Post-Conflict and Historical Memory in Colombia In accordance with the above, an evaluation grid was designed that would serve as a guide for the educator to assess audiovisual resources such as documentary in a sociopolitical learning environment. Therefore, various criteria were established based on the pedagogical evaluation guide of educational audiovisual material proposed by Rojas (2011). Therefore, the study had a qualitative approach based on descriptive-explanatory research, in order to expose and describe the grid evaluation criteria. The results obtained show that the documentary is an educational resource that integrates real and technological elements to mobilize the viewer towards a nearby reality in an objective way. In this measure, the publication is important because it invites us to reflect on the resources that are used, why they are used and the relevance of relying on the documentary to confront periods in the educational field and to build the truth in continuity with the construction of a society more conscious and less indifferent |
