| Abstract | sion Array. Denosomin treatment altered expressions of 2098 genes. Among them, we especially focused RET (GDNF receptor) and Btbd9 (associated factors with restless legs syndrome). To investigate reproducibility, Denosomin (20 mol/kg, p.o.) or vehicle was administered to spinal cord injured mice for 7days. During 7 days, Denosomin-treated group showed significant improvement of Basso Mouse Scale compared with vehicle-treated group (repeated measures two-way ANOVA: F(1,144) = 3.97 P = 0.0578). At 7 days after the injury, total RNAs of spinal cords were prepared. It was shown by real-time PCR that mRNA levels of RET and Btbd9 were increased by Denosomin treatment. We are now investigating how those two factors contribute to axonal remodeling and improvement of motor function. |
