| Abstract | Collecting drosophilids in urban areas makes possible to compare different environments in respect to the degree of preservation or environmental alteration. The present study analysed drosophilid assemblages in different levels of urbanisation in the city of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Collections were carried out in 2008 in three different environments: Jardim Botânco, a highly urbanised area; Parque Gabriel Knijnik, a forested area with intermediary urbanisation; and Morro Santana, a relatively well-preserved forested area, although threatened by the urban growth. In Jardim Botânico, 35 species of four genera were found, with high abundance of exotic species as Drosophila simulans and Zaprionus indianus. In Parque Gabriel Knijnik, 33 species of four genera were found, with higher abundances of native species belonging to the tripunctata group and willistoni subgroup, and lower abundance of exotic species. In respect to Morro Santana, 32 species and three genera were found, with higher abundances of native groups, low representativity of exotic species and absence of Z. indianus. The analysis with the Jaccard index showed higher similarity in the species |
