| Abstract | By the exponential growth of social networks, people's daily lives changed significantly. Because of this factor and the difficulty of learning management, the Social Educational Networks appeared. These are the junction of social networks with Learning Management System, known in Brazil as Virtual Learning Environments. Based on authors Recuero (2009); Vale (2014); Pereira, Schmitt and Dias (2007); Clarenc et al (2013); Abreu (2011) and Kenski (2008); the study aims to perform a systematic literature review (SLR) of the last five years to investigate use of virtual environments to learning of students for basic education, based by these research questions: QP1 What are pedagogical resources available by the virtual environments? QP2 What are the perceptions of students in the classroom, after they used virtual environments? QP3 What are the perceptions of teachers after they used virtual environments? QP4 What are challenges for using virtual environments at school or in the classroom? In total, 5404 search were found and 15 articles were selected, after three screenings based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. As to the result, the articles revealed important and positive data, how the resources that the virtual environments present and contribute to learning; however, there are obstacles, such as lack of resources in public institutions, lack of stimulus or inappropriate technologies. In summary, the study showed that there are advantages to using virtual environments because they mediate learning, but it need to overcome difficulties, including constant updating of teachers. |
