| Abstract | The conclusion, or signature, of instruments without legal effect in the field of international law, is a common practice in the relations between some states. The South America context, in recent years, offered some examples of this trend. Some of these episodes originated in the development of the experiences of regional integration and cooperation. From the perspective of the regional policy of the Argentinean State and its relationship with Brazil in 2003-2007, this paper proposes to characterize the effects and meaning of the not legal instruments in the bilateral relationship between this two States in that period. |
