| Abstract | ADEK AYU PUTRI JULIANI. Development of Guidelines and Usability Evaluation of Indonesian e-Government Websites. Supervised by FIRMAN ARDIANSYAH. One of the goals of e-government development is to make it easier for people to obtain information and public services using the internet. Therefore, it’s necessary to evaluate the government website in a wide range performance of its usability. This research aims to develop usability guidelines for e-government level of information and the level of interaction. The development of guidelines is done by searching the web usability guidelines appropriate for each e-government guidelines which have been identified determined beforehand. The development of usability guidelines produced 84 guidelines for information level and 26 guidelines for the level of interaction. Usability guidelines that have been produced and validated by the experts is used to evaluate Indonesian province websites. The average percentage guidelines are met at the level of information by 52% and the level of interaction by 22%. The website of West Java province has the highest usability value of all web sites that were evaluated with a total value of 65%, whereas the websites of Papua province has the lowest value of usability with a total value of 22%. In testing the mobile platform, there are 9 websites that have been responsive on all platforms. |
