| Abstract | This study deals with the dynamic performance of a thermal plant (industrial oven) based on the position of transfer function poles. The roots position method allows to graph the poles of a closed mesh located at the left semi plan of a complex plan. The study deals with recharge control manners for understanding the action of a PID controller. Control parameters as P, PI and PID were tested by Ziegler and Nichols methods. Furthermore, this study deals with an alternative of demonstrating the relative stability of a recharge control system, computing earnings margin and phase margin, where the controller ́s parameters are calculated “online”, as well as IMC – PID. The process performance was also presented (plants) using PI controller through the specifications of earnings and phase margins in disturbance presence. The software SIMULINK allowed to simulate the mathematical model of the system, modeled on block diagrams for the numeric motor of MATLAB. Among the entrance signs applied we can mention: step, ramp, pulse and synodal. The modeled system output obtained in one step by SIMULINK, is like the control system curve output, simulated by MATLAB software. |
