Abstract	Students have different learning methods other colleagues, which makes the teacher adopt a teaching method to interact and deal with different learning styles of their students. There are several theories that address the types of learning styles. David Kolb identified four groups of students: conciliatory, assimilator, convergent and divergent. The focus of this work is to show the predominant learning style of students of Accounting Sciences, Federal University of Mato Grosso Pantanal South Campus. This is a descriptive study, formal, ex post facto, under field conditions, transverse, actual routine, statistical, using data collection and questionnaire formulated to students in this research. The survey was conducted during the month of January 2013 and consisted of 75 of the total of 144 students enrolled in the course activities. As a result, it was found the dominant style of learning assimilator in 54.66% of respondents. Thus, knowing and exploiting the learning style of students, we obtain an important factor that contributes to the formation of a professional prepared for the challenges of the profession and business success.
