Abstract	Sexually transmitted infections (STI) and HIV/AIDS in Indonesia tends to increase. Its also happened in East Java and Banyuwangi. Data in Banyuwangi regency showed that prostitute is the largest contributor t HIV/AIDS cases in Banyuwangi. Therefore, we need a prevention against STI and HIV /AIDS on prostitute. This study aims to analyze factors that influence the behavior prevention of STI and HIV/AIDS on Prostitute in Gempol Porong Banyuwangi Localizat ion. This study used quantitative research methods. This research was an lytic and survey research using cross sectional approach. The population in this st udy were all prostitute in Gempol Porong Banyuwangi Localization. The number of sampl es in this study were 40 prostitute. The data obtained were analyzed by usin g u ivariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariable analysis using logistic regression statistical tests with significance level of 5% ( α = 0.05). The results showed that there was influen ce between knowledge about STI and HIV / AIDS on the b e avior of STI prevention and HIV/AIDS on prostitute with p value = 0.021, there was no influence between attitudes about STI and HIV/AIDS with prevention be havior of STI and HIV/AIDS on prostitute with p value = 0.255, and no influence a mong the important factors for reference in efforts to prevent STI and HIV/AIDS on the behavior of STI prevention and HIV/AIDS on prostitute with p value = 0.251. Ba sed on the results, Health Departement of Banyuwangi, KPA of Banyuwangi and no n-g vernmental organizations (NGOs) in Banyuwangi are expected to cooperate in efforts to increase knowledge of prostitute through the sosialization o f information by health worker.
