| Abstract | In this project we try to check the maturity of the teaching-Iearning procedure applied during the past five years in a basic Electromagnetic theory subject for freshmen of Electric and Electronic Engineering degrees. The methodology follows the requirements of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). It includes active and cooperative learning practises as the jigsaw activity, and novel practices as the lectures under demando Continuous evaluation has been established, including individual and group tests and exams with a períodicity of less than two weeks. The experiment compares the student performance on a subject with different learning methodologíes. The subject is taught in separate groups. In the reference group, the same approach than previous years is used (Iecture-based library instruction) and the other groups undergo the novellearning technique. The university e-Iearning platform ADD-Moodle has been used as reinforcement for the classroom activities.
