| Abstract | ZusammenfassungAls Spezifikum menschlicher Entwicklung kann die „motorische Intelligenz“ angesehen werden. Diese wird – phylogenetisch nur in groben Zügen vorgegeben – wesentlich während der ersten Lebensmonate richtungsbestimmt. In dieser relativ vulnerablen Phase spielen Störungen der spinalen Motorik und insbesondere der Funktion der Kopfgelenke eine überproportional wichtige Rolle. Diese Zusammenhänge werden aufgrund neuerer Literatur und klinischer Erfahrungen dargestellt, um so die Sensibilität für Möglichkeiten und Grenzen funktioneller Therapie zu erhöhen.AbstractMotoric intelligence can be considered as being specific to human development and the direction is essentially determined during the first months of life, whereas phylogenetic factors only determine the general direction. In this relatively vulnerable phase, disturbances of the spinal motoric and in particular the function of the atlanto-occipital joint play a disproportionately important role. These contributing factors will be presented based on the latest literature and clinical experience in order to increase the sensibility for possibilities and limits of functional therapy. |
