Abstract	[eng] The aim of this paper is to determine the driving action of the industrial public sector within the national productive structure. This study has been carried out with the use of 33 and 86 sectors input-output matrices, on the basis of influence theory indicators. The results moves that the industrial public sector displays two basic features : 1) it has a low driving action and a strong aptitude to diffuse price movements 2) its internal consistency is strong because of the close relations existing between the public sectors. A more detailed analysis then produces a typology of the 28 relevant sectors. [fre] Le but de cet article est de chercher a determiner les capacites d'entrainement que l'actuel secteur public francais exerce au sein du systeme productif national. L'etude a ete effectuee sur la base des T.E.S. en 33 et 86 branches, a l'aide des indicateurs matriciels de la theorie de l'influence. Les resultats montrent que le secteur public industriel presente deux caracteristiques fondamentales : 1) il possede une faible capacite d'entrainement et une forte aptitude a diffuser les variations de prix, 2) sa coherence interne est importante en raison des relations etroites entretenues par les branches le composant. Une analyse plus detaillee permet d'obtenir une typologie des 28 branches industrielles concernees au niveau le plus fin.
