| Abstract | Many traditional approaches to ethics are based on presuppositions from teleological or deontological theories. This paper takes into consideration the theoretical and methodological perspective of Heidegger and Levinas as well as part of their philosophical foundations, prioritizing rhizomatic ethics as an “ethics as abode or dwelling place of being” as a heed, and basing on the core principle of human dignity and the rhizomatic origin of human rights. The following questio ns are therefore considered: is there an association between effective implementations, on national, regional and international levels, of decisions and recommendations that emanate from regional and international systems of human rights and their theoretical basis? What is the role of citizen formation on ethics? An ethical philosophical as well as a sociocultural and political analysis will be inserted in the broad context of multiple dialectic processes of large historical periods. Key words: rhizomatic ethics, human rights, multiple dialectic methodology |
