| Abstract | The objective of this article was to analyze the evaluation process used by Physical Education teachers with the high school students of the Santa Rosa do Sul State School of Education. The study was developed through field research with a qualitative approach. The main results about the evaluation process were: among the institution's PPP chapters, only three evaluation instruments are cited; as for the students' knowledge about the evaluation, we realize that there is a basic understanding; the self-assessment is used only by one of the teachers; regarding the evaluative criteria we identify that are defined from documents such as PCNs and National Curricular Base.
