| Abstract | Wireless Mesh Networks, are low cost alternatives to traditionals wired networks, fiber optic and satellite, to provide broad access and other services.Other advantages are the ease and speed of deployment especially in locations lacking infrastructure, due to its self-configuring nature and exemption from the need for infrastructure for data transmission, which is made in jumps through its multiple nodes. However, its management is complicated due to the dynamism of the network caused by changes in the quality of the links and consequent changes in the best routes. Because of this a system was developed for managing wireless mesh networks, MeshAdmin(VALLE; MUCHALUAT-SAADE, 2012), with the objective of meeting the necessary requirements for the management of this type of network as: Data Collection, Data Storage, Monitoring, User Control and Network Configuration. Its construction is modular, so that new modules can be developed and integrated into the original platform. The Modulo Autonomico de Diagnostico, MAD(FERREIRA, 2017), It arose from the need for automated detection and diagnosis of failures related to the operation of wireless mesh networks powered by solar energy, which can be deployed in difficult-to-reach locations such as the mesh network deployed in the REMOTE project(SIQUEIRA, 2015), which since the beginning of its operation has presented problems such as antenna misalignment, shadow on the solar panel, defective battery among others. The goal of this work is to integrate the Autonomic Module of Di-agnostic, which employs data mining and machine learning techniques and the wireless mesh network management platform (MeshAdmin), allowing the network administrator to monitor in real time the diagnosis of network operation. |
