| Abstract | This article discusses an analysis of public policies applied to education and their influence oneconomic development and social rise of workers in the Brazilian labor market, which requiresefficient, economically productive people in constant training. It aims at examining the overallefficiency of the management model of educational public policies, as well as the teachingprocess and preparation of young people to the labor market. From the results of this study, wecan conclude that there is a huge gap between institutions of secondary education and the labormarket; we discussed questions such as how school refusal is caused by disinterest and lack ofrelationship between theory and practice, required for the insertion of the young in the labormarket, as well as the lack of integration among schools, businesses and society. Thus, it isproved necessary to adopt more efficient policies to decrease the distance or lack of preparationof the young to develop the country's economic and bring social development. |
