| Abstract | Today the university is expected to play an important role in different stages of the society in which it is inserted. One is the formation of professionals that the society demands, however the current pressure is to exceed market demands, and universities must commit to broader purposes. In the case of initial teacher training, they must prepare with professionals who perform a dual role, first, those who work as citizens and secondly, to train others so they can practice this role. The challenge is to provide for future teachers, a level of knowledge, attitude, social and professional skills that allows them to surpass the changing and complex forms of life and coexistence. This implies a civic education of integrate and a set of skills related to the education of reason, emotions and feelings. This reflection is to be developed in this work. |
