| Abstract | Resumen : El presente articulo propone la utilizacion de las teorias tomadas de la geografia humana, sobre el espacio relacional de Doreen Massey como marco teorico fundamental a partir del que desarrollar una investigacion en museologia cuyo principal objetivo es describir los espacios relacionales que se construyen alrededor de exposiciones de arte contemporaneo en dos instituciones artisticas de la ciudad de Barcelona y analizarlas en funcion de las relaciones de poder que las organizan, poniendo especial enfasis en las relaciones que se generan entre los profesionales implicados en la exposicion y los visitantes de la misma. Asi, en su mayor parte, el articulo reflexiona sobre las teorias expuestas por Doreen Massey en sus dos principales obras Space, Place and Gender, (2001) y For Space (2008). Posteriormente, se expone como estas teorias ayudan a desarrollar el marco teorico de la investigacion y a disenar el acercamiento metodologico de la misma. Abstract : The present article presents how Doreen Massey's theory on relational spaces, taken from human geography, contributes in a fundamental way to the development of a museological research. The main objectives of this investigation is to describe the relational spaces constructed around contemporary art exhibitions in two art institutions in Barcelona and to analyze them according to the power relations which order them. As a secondary objective, the research also seeks to describe the relations between the professionals involved in the exhibition and the people who visit it. Thus, the main corpus of this article reflects on the theories exposed by Doreen Massey in Space, Place and Gender (2001) and For Space (2008). To finish with, the article explains, first, how these theories have helped to develop the theoretical framework of the research and, second,how they conducted the design of the methodological approach of the research.
