“Esses nordestinos...” : discurso de ódio em redes sociais da internet na eleição presidencial de 2014

Abstract	This study investigated hate speech against "northeastern" appeared in social networking through tumblr posts “Esses nordestinos...” in the first round of elections to the Presidency of Brazil, in 2014. Initially probed some of historical, social and discursive conditions established stereotypes about northeast who staked their otherness and inferiority within the Brazilian nation. We discussed the apparent stiffness of the boundaries of the northeastern otherness, whose boundaries do not adhere to the physical territory either to said subject "northeastern". Delimit conceptual parameters of hate speech, in particular with regard to violent action perpetrated through language, exploring some of the particularities of its dissemination in cyberspace, legal tensions related to the exercise of freedom of expression and, finally, some of the challenges to their approach, considering the pre and post in violation of the human rights dimensions. The study of tumblr posts “Esses nordestinos...” allowed us to see above all a nuisance personified in a name, located in a space whose real and imaginary existence allows reinforcement operations to a system of domination that subjugates and excludes. Under the "northeast" sheltering uncomfortable with systemic social problems such as poverty, unequal access to development opportunities, low education, among others, that the attribution of blame to the individual or group in the representation "nordestinos" appears as solution. It is also home to strong prejudice against the Northeastern origin, sometimes interlocked with the class and racial prejudices, which refers to the Brazilian cultural training, in particular to a colonized.
