| Abstract | This paper aims to perform an upgrade of the whole rock art which is framed in the geographical area of the ‘Meseta Sur’ (Spain), through the application of new techniques of GIS. To this end, it also aims to broaden the scope of study that has traditionally been based on a stylistic and artistic analysis of this kind of pictorial representations. Thus, it is a question of approaching this field of study towards an analysis of the landscape and look for possible links of these paintings with domestic and labor practices, as well as different customs, mentalities, transhumance routes and many others possibilities. |
