| Abstract | Noise is a risk factor which is perceived as an unpleasant sensation, alteration to be prevented because it affects labor welfare and quality of life of workers Today is no ordinary record the road construction industry in our country has resources both human and financial, to ensure the safety of workers, a fact that if you register in more developed countries. This creates the need to identify the effects on the health of workers exposed to noise generated by road construction machinery, in order to minimize the effects of noise factor are exposed day by day workers and increase productivity in the companies. The first thing that was done was collecting demographic information of workers exposed to noise, applying a survey where some form of hearing impairment and auditory fatigue, mild to moderate hearing loss, plus extra-auditory effects were observed both physiological and psychological . Subsequently a number of preventive measures are listed as industrial safety measures that are applied directly to workers exposed to noise and technical measures that are directly related to noise sources and machinery, in order to prevent risks arising from the exposure to noise generated by road construction machinery, measures that companies should implement in order to protect prevent and reduce the risks to the safety of personnel. |
