| Abstract | Farmers, now a days, focus on achieving optimum levels of production with low cost; that’s why producers are obliged to seek better ways to supply for nutritional aspects of pasture, problem derived from low fertilities of soils and pastures themselves. One of the easiest ways changing pastures for concentrates, however this way is limited by its high costs. The objective of this investigation was making an analysis on the inclusion of Gliricidia sepium on the diets of dairy cows, and to see how much effect did it had on the production and overall condition. The study was realized between the months of July and August, in 7 weeks, in the Dairy Production unit of the Escuela Agricola Panamericana. 8 cows were used, those were divided in 2 groups, the first one being the control group which consisted of 9 cows, same as the group of experimentation, they had 12.7 liters of daily production and 82.7 days of lactancy average.
