| Abstract | In this work, an analysis is presented on the pedagogical discourse in the official document of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Venezuela which has the Study Plan for the second stage in Basic (or Primary) Education in the year 1999, and the official Program for occupational education corresponding to that level and stage, sixth grade (study program subject to modifications) of the year 1998. The program for occupational education was chosen because it is interesting to inquire about the bases on which the formation of Venezuelan university students is supported. It was considered that the official written discourse, as a communicative act with an intention and in a determined social and historic context, should reflect the pedagogical, political, ideological and the power relations of the official institution for Education in Venezuela. |
