Microalbuminuria with the determination of urea and creatinine, may be the earliest marker of kidney damage; so the Microalbuminuria was determined in patients with diabetes Friends Club sweets Isidro Ayora Hospital, being a descriptive study, cross sectional, where samples of 54 patients of both urine and blood were analyzed using strips Micral test for microalbuminuria determination in urine and spectrophotometric method Blood Chemistry analyzer cobas c 311; obtaining results that 4% of patients had high levels of urea, 8% of patients had altered creatinine values, whereas the results of Microalbuminuria, 4% had values of 100 mg / L, 13% showed values of 50 mg / L and 31% with values of 20 mg / L, compared to 52% of patients with negative results; by relating the results observed that 8% of patients with impaired creatinine showed values between 50 and 100 mg / L of Microalbuminuria, however 9% of patients with normal creatinine values obtained Microalbuminuria within 50 mg / L 31% had values within the 20 mg / L, and 52% reported negative values of microalbuminuria; values altered Urea it was observed that 4% of patients had 100 mg / L of Microalbuminuria, also 13% of patients with values Normal Urea presented results Microalbuminuria 50 mg / L and 31% of patients showed values of 20 mg / L of microalbuminuria, noting in analyzing a blood renal profile and determination of microalbuminuria are linked in determining renal failure in these patients.
