| Abstract | The Retinopathy of the Prematurity is one of the main complications of the administration of Oxygen in the premature patients ( > in the period from February to the August 2015. The study population was constituted by all the newborn babies submitted to Oxygen therapy, to whom later previous dilation evaluated them by means of Examination of Fund of Indirect Eye pupillary in the Service of Ophthalmology. The sample was 27 neonates; the information compilation was carried out across the case histories review. The information was deposited in a database of Microsoft Excel and it analyzed by simple and inferential statistics. The retinopathy Incidence was 25 %, with an average from 1 until 3 weeks of administration of oxygen be already for mechanical ventilation, Cephalic Chamber or continuous positive Pressure in the airline, of such a percentage the Grade I of retinopathy was the most representative with 70,38%.
