Abstract	[Ein vulkanischer Tuff ähnlich dem Eltv i l ler Tuff in den Lössen von Hesbaye (Belgien) und Niederländisch-Limburg] K u r z f a s s u n g : Ein vulkanischer Tuff ist in drei Lößprofilen von Ostbelgien (Rocourt und Lixhe) und niederländisch Limburg gefunden worden. Dieser Tuff kann mit dem E l t v i l l e r T u f f (SEMMEL 1967) korreliert werden. Daher können die Lößprofile von Ostbelgien, nieder ländisch Limburg (Nagelbeek) und Hessen parallelisiert werden. [A Volcanic Tuff S imi lar to the Eltv i l ler Tuff in the Loess of Hesbaye (Belgium) and Limburg (Netherlands)] A b s t r a c t : A volcanic tuff has been found in three loess profiles of Hesbaye (Rocourt and Lixhe) and of Limburg in Netherland (Nagelbeek). This tuff corresponds probably with the E l t v i l l e r T u f f of Hessen in West Germany (SEMMEL, 1967).This key-bed permits to com pare both loess stratigraphies. 1 . I n t r o d u c t i o n ROHDENBURG & SEMMEL ( 1 9 7 1 ) ont decr i t une tres fine bände noire dans les loess de Rocour t (Belg ique) sous un horizon r a p p o r t e p a r eux a u s o l d e K e s s e l t (Fig. 1 ) . Iis ont propose une cor re la t ion ent re cet te bände noire et un tuf v o l c a n i q u e connu en Hesse sous le nom d' E l t v i l l e r T u f f (SEMMEL 1 9 6 7 ) . Sur base de leurs observat ions H . ROHDENBURG et A . SEMMEL conc luen t ä l ' impossibi l i te d 'une cor re la t ion ent re le s o l d e K e s s e l t e t l e s o l d e S t i l l f r i e d B comme l ' a v a i t propose PAEPE ( 1 9 6 6 ) .
