| Abstract | Since 2005 and due to the arrival of an increasing number of unaccompanied migrant minor, the Valencian Administration makes visible this group initiating what will be the first changes in the network of child protection system. The institutional path intended for the care of these children is automate and legitimated under a double logic: protective, taking care of these children because of their plight: and control, accepting their reality as illegal immigrant. This contradiction is manifested through the implementation of a protocol of interdisciplinary proceedings, and a new model of protection centers to give a new direction to the attention of these children. As in other Autonomous Communities, they will be treated as if they were a completely homogeneous group. Educational projects will be put into practice which aim to achieve their social and integration work. The socio-educational task of Reception Centers has become more complex due to minor diversity profiling who have been arriving to Valencia.
