| Abstract | This research was carried out to propose two indicators of the exogenous limit to the growth of the trade among the countries involved in the same MAURO MÁRCIO OLIVEIRA • 267 Econômica,Rio de Janeiro,v.8, n.2, p.253-267, dezembro 2006 integrated economic zone. The hypothesis is that, if on one side, the regional integration stimulates the trade, on the other, the non economic conformation inhibits this rising. Besides the proposition, the indicators were applied to four real cases and the results were linked to the known “open regionalism” and “close regionalism”. |
